Hiya! I am a British-born mummy of two small children, currently living in Yorkshire, England with my Japanese husband. I moved back to the U.K. with my family in May 2011 after 15 years living in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan.
I taught English as a foreign language in Japan to students of all ages, at secondary school and language schools. I have a diploma in the Montessori Method and a CELTA certificate.
I am especially interested in the Montessori Method and how it can be used for raising my Tokyo-born kids.
I’d like to exchange ideas about bilingualism, English teaching in Japan and life in a bi-cultural family.
Please feel free to add your comments to my posts.
I am also writing a blog called Teaching Bilingual Kids which is written in Japanese and English.

Thank you for reading!
This is really interesting, I’m going to email your website to a Japanese friend who’s bringing up her British born son in London.
Thank you! That’s ever so nice. It would be great to be in touch with other parents of international kids 🙂
